Learn About Jesus
You see, God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for people who realize their need for Him. God desires an intimate relationship with you simply because He created you and His love for you is unconditional. It's in this love that He sent His Son Jesus to save us from sin and restore our Father-child relationship. In this relationship, we find peace, joy, identity, purpose and all of God's best. Since only the creator of a thing knows the purpose of the created thing, so also, only God knows our true purpose, and only when we're walking in this purpose, do we find fulfilment.
What's wrong with sin?
•Sin is a subtle enemy. It starts off feeling good, but after a while, it becomes a prison.
•Sin causes hurt in our relationships. It brings things like hatred, jealousy and pride, which destroys relationships.
•Sin separates us from God because sin does the opposite of what God says. (No healthy relationship can exist without trust and mutual respect.)
What did Jesus do for me?
He died so you can be forgiven
On the cross, Jesus paid the penalty for all the things that we do wrong in our lives, setting us free to be completely forgiven by God Romans 8:1.
He died to save you
Whatever kind of darkness you have been in—fear, despair, guilt, addiction, grief, or bitterness—Jesus has saved you from it and is already bringing you into the light 1 Peter 2:9.
He died so you can have a relationship with God
When you receive Jesus, you return home after being far from God, and He welcomes you with open arms Luke 15:24.
Say yes to Jesus!
"Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to come into my heart, forgive me, and be my Lord. Help me live for You. Amen."
